Quality Assurance Engineer

New York City

The Boxee team in NYC is looking for an experienced and motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will be part of a productive team, driving the quality of a substantial feature set, and ensuring the quality of Boxee products.

Responsibilities include the writing and executing of tests with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting complex issues related to real-time video and audio delivery. You'l work closely with the Development and Product Management teams, to build and ship Boxee products.

Qualifications for this position include

• 1-2 years of software testing experience a plus (preferably in video and audio delivery).
• Knowledge of media players, streamers and A/V technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Passion about and ability to deliver high quality features and end-to-end scenarios.
• Detail oriented.
• Proactive communicator, effective influencer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as and collaboration skills.
