Hi,

I am generating as part of my app the rss on the fly via php and it is taking some time. I was wondering using mc what can I call to display the busy wheel ?
I tried:

mc.ShowDialogWait()
mc.GetWindow(14000).GetList(750).SetContentURL('ht tp://host/generaterss.php')
mc.HideDialogWait()

but this doesnt do anything.

Help appreciated.

Hey

Im not really sure about this but i know there is a .IsLoading command built into the boxee api that i have used to display a loading message which dissapears when the rss is finished.

So if you cant get the wheel to show you could simply show a message (Loading Content) that is only visible when GetList().IsLoading though i used Container().IsLoading,

Just a work around for the less technical like me :)

Correct if you are setting the content url of a container you can check it with .IsLoading. example below. however mc.ShowDialogWait() should work.

<control type="multiimage">
<visible>Container(120).IsLoading + !Window.IsVisible(DialogProgress.xml)</visible>
<posx>540</posx>
<posy>260</posy>
<width>200</width>
<height>200</height>
<imagepath>loading</imagepath>
<timeperimage>100</timeperimage>
<fadetime>1</fadetime>
<loop>yes</loop>
<randomize>false</randomize>
</control>
