Sorry, guys. Getting ready for work so i don't have the links to post but... I found the XBMC TV Shack plugin works perfectly, at least on my windows version of Boxee. If you're not familiar with the TV Shack plugin, well... that app in itself has enough video to feed ALL of our video needs and delete all other apps. over 3400 movies, a few hundred documentaries, music videos, and about 1000 tv shows. I had to install it manually and it was thanks to the post in the windows section that helped me get it working that was about manually installing plugins. I'll look for the links again and post a little later. I just googled xbmc plugins and tried this or that and kept the 1s that worked.

I installed it and its kinda hit and miss. some of the shows and movies work and some dont. Plus alot of the stuff is stored on mega video and they only allow 70 min for free at a time withought a monthly subscription wich is fine if you want to watch a show but sucks for movies

yeah, actually i'm noticing that too. i only spent like an hour with it when i posted at first. but at least this will play the megavideo links. anyone know how to get around the time limit? maybe the boxee devs can work with megavideo on an exclusive deal to let us users watch unlimited? or at least long enough to finish a movie? we can all hope.

I am wondering if anyone has tried watching something on megavideo in this plugin. This plugin is the same from voinage's xbmc plugin tutorial (http://developer.boxee.tv/) in it he says that there is a workaround for the timelimit built in.

I know nothing about writing a plugin, programing. python, etc. so i don't know where to begin with this. I did try looking at the python code in the tv shack plugin, the code in the tutorial, and the tutorial itself to compare everything at least. It appears that the megavideo part of the tutorial is to get past the "click to play" part of megavideo but I'm not sure. In looking through the TV Shack code, it appears there's something build into it that might get past parts of megavideo, perhaps the time limit, but it might be broken or missing some parts. I see code that calls for the megavideo premium accounts and cookies and different urls. and there are notes in each section of code, almost like its written for intent for others to manipulate. If anyone has any experience that can take a look, post what you think or find. I think there's potential.
