So i'm still on 2.3 or 2.4, cant recall which version of ATV and have upgraded from Alpha to Beta on Boxee. I'm planning on doing a complete factory install to ensure I have a nice fresh system and was keen to see if there was any performance differences/benefits between the ATV versions when using Beta?

I can't speak for other people, but I've got a 3.0.1 install (pimped the way it should be with a 1.0 recovery.dmg - so it's not vanilla...) And both Boxee Beta and XBMC CrystalHD build work incredibly well....

I can wholeheartedly recommend this setup, but perhaps someone else has a positive report with 3.0.2? Or a negative one? Again, the Beta works well for some content and not others, so with location YMMV....

I can say that with flash 10.0 final on OS 3.0.1 Boxee Beta plays well with the UK channels... with Flash 10.1 Beta - forget it... That's only my personal experience though...

I installed 3.0.2 last night when I did a complete wipe and re-install. It seems to index much faster. I also have to agree that Flash 10.0 Final is the way to go. The new 10.1 Betas to nothing to improve performance of Flash Video Streaming for the ATV.
