Hi,

Someone else in our department (he's gone now) developed a boxee skin app for us. It works fine, and after looking through the code, it seems fairly straight-forward.

So here's the problem:
Any changes I make to main.xml are completely ignored.
I even removed the main.xml file, and the application still seems to run perfectly, with all its graphics in place, as if main.xml was still there. Changes to descriptor.xml work fine.

It's being testing locally, with <test-app> set to true, and no repository.

Any ideas why?

Thanks,

Boxee doesn't specificially look for main.xml, it identifies the XML file to use by the window id in the window element in the XML file which should match what is in the startWindow element in descriptor.xml.
You should make sure that there aren't multiple XML files with the same window id, as this can cause Boxee to load the wrong file.
Also make sure that the skin XML file is in the correct directory. It should be in application directory/skin/Boxee Skin NG/720p (where application directory is the directory where the descriptor.xml file is located.

Ah... id's. Of course!
That did the trick.

Thanks!
