Hello all,

I've had a Western Digital TV HD box until now. I'm seriously considering switching to the BBox.

One thing that's been bothering me about the WD TV HD is the fact that I have an analog audio system and when I try to play a file that has digital audio (DTS and alike), the WD TV HD won't convert it and send it through the analog outputs. In order to hear the audio, I have to convert the file with some 3rd party software from 5.1 to 2 channel audio. At that point, the box will let me hear the sound through the analog outputs.

Can anyone tell me if the BBox will play the files' audio through the analog outputs even if it's digital?

Thank you!!

Z
