View Full Version : Ease of Use Issues

Ive got a few things to say about some of boxees features and media management system, and since Im sure Im not the only one here with an opinion on how boxee should work, I figured I might as well start a ew thread to get the discussion started.

For my part, I have a problem with the fact that every time I try and listen to music, there is a useless page that asks me whether I would like to read about or listen to my media. The reality of the situation is that the answer is neither about 90% of the time. At least in the case of music. What I usually want to do is Look At the songs from the album I selected so that I can actually choose which one I would like to play. After which, I am more than capable of selecting the read tab and reading about my media while I am listening to it.

The next issue I have is getting back to the album from which I selected the song after I have pressed esc in order to watch the visualizer. Which leads to my next problem. There is no way to go directly to the visualizer from the album view and back again without using the back button. This is a problem when you have gone somewhere else in boxee and used now playing to get back to the visualizer.

Thats all I have for now, what do yah think?

great feedback. thanks!

i think you're spot on.
changing the default action to be open the album screen with focus on the first track, and only from there choose if you'd like to read a review of the album makes perfect sense
