Hi,

For awhile I was able to watch non-HD Veetle streams from veetle.com on my boxee box as it is streamed via flash. However, I then did a stupid thing where I went to an HD only stream and clicked on "download the Veetle player here" even though I knew it very likely wouldn't work. So now, it seems that any Veetle stream I try to watch, even ones that I know for sure are SD / flash, I get the same "click here to finish your Veetle installation" screen.

It almost seems like something is cached somewhere. Is there a way to clear it out so I can watch non-HD Veetle flash streams again?

Thanks,
Dan

Probably the only way to be sure is to do a factory restore of the system.....The browser doesnt have much control, so you may be SOL until the next update OR you do a factory restore. YOu may also want to try a Power off\On via the Button on the box to see if that works.

Actually, related to the power off/on button approach, turn off the Box, then unplug the power cord, wait a few seconds, then plug the power back in and then power on the Box.

Powering off, disconnecting power and waiting for several minutes before starting back up did the trick!!!

Very interesting that that worked - some sort of infrequently used cache or memory area specific to the browser or general configuration I guess...

Thanks so much for the replies!!!
