I'm planning out a HTPC setup for my brother. He wants to replace cable in every room.

I built two $300 boxes, one for the guest bedroom/guitar room and one for the master bedroom, both the same spec.

A third will go in his Living room and be more of a small gaming pc with blueray that i'd like to do for under $900

Any questions/comments will be helpful, I'd like some suggestions on how to approach a low price, every room solution.

Below i have my $300 solution. This price doesn't include interface. I'm contemplating using a Wiimote and bluetooth or a wireless usb presentation mouse.

((Please keep in mind that these computers are to be fed from a server kept in the office, so there will be no local media.))
