I am currently living in Australia and bandwidth usage is a real issue. They have a system of allowing greater download limits for 'in country' sources. For this reason I use the ipfilter.enable setting in uTorrent which allows me to restrict connections to just Australian IP ranges and therefore maximise my bandwidth usage

This would be a useful feature for me to included in the built in client.

hi there. rtorrent, the client we use with boxee, does not support ipfiltering at this point. you can use moblock (http://moblock.berlios.de/) to achieve this.

thanks for this, it is actually an improvement as I can still configure the filter to allow seeding so can maintain better ratios. plus one for the knowledge bank ta!

This is a Linux product - I am using Apple OSX Operating System. Could you let me know if you are aware of one similar for my operating system?
