I bought a generic MCE remote in order to program my Harmony 720 so I can run Boxee with it. I downloaded Intelliremote, but it didn't seem to work. Does anyone know how I can easily and quickly program my 720 to match (as close as possible) the commands my MCE remote can do?

I'm curious to this as well. Just bought a 720, and ir receiver + ir repeater so hopefully I'll be able to try this out soon (as soon as Windows alpha/beta is in wider release). :)

Where did you buy the IR receiver? I'm looking for one too.

The Harmony has pre-programmed control for MCED. Haven't tried, but found the below instructions on this forum: http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/showthread.php?t=32310

On the Harmony web configuration software, I chose "add a device"

choose "computer"

choose "media center pc"

choose "microsoft" as the manufacturer

when asked for a model number I just made something up, like "remote control"

check "all of this information is correct" and "save"

It will ask if you have a remote for this device. Choose: NO

It will then present you with a list of similar models. Choose: Microsoft Media Center (v2)

That should do it.

I'll try that later tonight. I hope that works, because I've had a lot of trouble getting my 720 to work with Boxee.
