Yikes.

In a previous post, I mentioned that Boxee has no method to change movie (or any other) coverart.

Well, my experience importing 304 movies shows Boxee is getting the "Foriegn" coverart art for at least 10 percent of them.

This whole system needs to be looked at so you can have "User Intervention" to clean these things up.

As it is now, (or at least to my knowledge) there is no way to "Fix" all the goofs that Boxee is making when importing art.

Out of around 500 movies, only a few (like about 10-30) are showing foreign cover art. I'm choosing Wrong Video and then choosing it again from the list, but the cover art is incorrect - quite a few times, it's been Russian.

It would be great to be able to choose alternate cover art maybe? Not sure what the source is and how complicated this would be to deliver.

I'm still able to use the system though even with the foreign cover art, and I love it!

You are right it is still useable, but to me it is unimaginable that a wonderful new system like Boxee gives the user NO way to manipulate these details.

Listen, I have used just about EVERY single "Media Center" system out there. I currently use "Meedios" and it is quite fantastic but very difficult to set up. It is NOT for the newbee.

I will be posting a detailed explanation soon, as an experienced user, as to what options and functions I believe Boxee absolutely NEEDS to be the top dog if that is what they are trying to do.

Right now it is great, but too simplistic to actually use as a full on Media Center.
