View Full Version : buggy video playback while indexing?

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced issues with video playback while Boxee indexes their library. I'm not 100% sure this is the culprit yet, but I know on two occasions I had video playing fine. Besides that, when playing any video (avi, mkv, 480, 720, SD) if I try to skip ahead (1 min or 10 min) or FF the video will stop playing. The time counter continues to increment but the video is frozen. I can stop the video fine, Boxee behaves as normal otherwise. I have also seen the video stop after just letting it play through for a minute or two. I havent tested this as extensively as the skip/FF but I'm pretty sure it would also happen every time if I kept trying. The only difference I can think of is that when video is playing okay is when I tried it immediately after starting up boxee which makes me think it was before the indexing process began. Does this make sense? Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Unless Im mistaken, boxee does not index while media is playing, so something else must be going on here,
