Hi Team Boxee,

I'm curious as to what technical hurdles need to be crossed to get ABC enabled in a Windows build. I've been poking around in the source tonight but I can't find anything seemingly related to ABC playback.

the technical hurdle is implementing a wrapper for movix player in bxflplayer-win32.

Thanks for the clarification. Being that I haven't seen either the source of bxflashplayer or the Move Networks API; I have no idea of the complexity of such a task--but I'm sure Team Boxee has it under control.

OK. Will we see other Move Networks sources in Boxee once the wrapper for Windows is complete ?

neither movix player, nor bxflplayer are open-source.

I think he meant "Will we see other content providers who use the movix player in Boxee?"

My answer is: depends on the content providers--but at the very least that technical challenge will have been met.

duh... missed the 'other' in that sentence. :o

take two:
yes... that is part of boxee's--long term--plans. the player for discovery channel also uses movix, and the team has said that is a planned addition.
