I've read a couple other threads that say the pause function in Hulu is broken, so I can accept that, but I read another thread that said the other playback controls in Hulu (FF, RW) are supposed to work.

They don't for me.

When I try to use them, besides Boxee's own playback controls menu, I also see Hulu's own play controls and progress bar in the background.

No reply on this yet. Can someone at least confirm whether the other playback controls besides Pause for Hulu work through Boxee for Windows for them? Or is it a known issue?

yes.. you will see hulu's controls behind boxee's....

now for them not working, are you using the ones in boxee? those should work... the ones you see from hulu aren't selectable.

EDIT:
yes, pause is still broken.

Is this going to be the case on other "Channels?"

I was looking at some CBS and NBC content and am forced to watch commercials and can't fast forward even through the show content.

some channels have navigation implemented, other do not...

though, i doubt you'll ever be able to skip commercials... you can't on their sites... boxee can only do the same thing their sites can do.

I haven't really had problems with pause...if you hit it a couple of times it works and vice verse; not really a big issue on my end, especially since it rarely happens.

Yes, using the Boxee controls.

I press Enter to display the Boxee controls. I arrow to the various controls and press Enter again to "use" that control.

Stop works.

The FF and RW controls (all 4 of them) don't work at all. They just don't do anything. I hear the boxee sound effect when I "click" on them (press Enter after selecting it) so I know it recognizes that I'm trying to use the control, but it just doesn't do anything.

A couple of times I've had it jump to the END of movie when I was trying to use the "skip backward" control (the three arrows pointing left).

This is on Windows Vista.

I'm seeing the same behavior on Hulu channels. Play and Stop work. Pause does not work. FF and RW do not work. (I was not trying to FF through a commercial.)

Using Win XP SP3.

Yes, same here, could not get any of the fast forward, rewind or pause to work using the boxee overlay controls in hulu. Using Vista SP1 32-bit.
