Hi

I noticed that occasionally boxee's flash player has problems when streaming contents from Comedy Central.

I mostly watch the South Park episodes on it (loving it btw). It seems half-way-through an episode the video stops so it can play an advert. Sometimes there is a long pause before the advert kicks in and you hear the ad but there is no picture. If you press Pause or stop, it then seems to load two video streams as you can hear two audio streams at teh same time. Then boxee freaks out and pressing any button on my remote goes to the exit menu, where you can close boxee and return to the desktop (if this is the way boxee handles crashes then QUDOS, that is a very cool way to handle crashes).

Not sure if I can add any more detail than this, if you want logs, tell me where to look and I can post them.

I had a similar problem once with BBC's iPlayer - eventually boxee died and I got a Windows Error Message saying bxflashplayer.exe (or whatever it is called) has crashed.

Probobly a noobie question, but do I have to be running in debug mode when it crashes for the logs to be usefull, or can I just restart boxee in debug mode to generate usefull logs??

And of course I'll send you the logs when it happens again ;)

Sorry for being so long to post this, but I haven't been using Boxee for a while on the web.

Anyway, it now seems that Boxee crashes a lot when I use BBC iPlayer.

Here are the logs I get:

Hope that is of use ;)

I also continue to notice how Boxee thrashes the hell out of the hard drive when I load it for the first time, not sure what is is doing, but all my media are stored on another PC so it shouldn't be scanning for media updates....
