I've wanted to share my own experience of Boxee with pictures and descriptions for my friends online who don't come over to my house so I decided to write a blog-post entry on my website detailing what the interface looks like for me and how I use it. Yes everything will most likely change come the March 5th update, but I had to start somewhere. If it helps to convince others you know to use it (or to learn what it is), feel free to share. I don't have any ads on my site, so I'm not trying to drive traffic, just to help spread the word about Boxee! I figure the more places the better! :)

I'm not sure how much has been said in the forums, but here is what I know.
From: http://twitter.com/boxee_news
"next alpha version for Mac, Apple TV, Windows and Ubuntu due March 5th"

And From: http://getsatisfaction.com/boxee, Avner Ronen's has posted several updates in the last few days.
Keep in mind in the first two he said 'beta' and not 'alpha'. The official beta isn't scheduled for release until later this year.

Want: "Mark episodes of podcasts, tv shows, etc. as 'old' after they've been viewed"
Avner's Response: "will be part of the beta"

Want: "autologin for only one user"
Avner's Response: "will be part of the beta"

Want: "Give me a way to update Boxee from within the program"
Avner's Response: "in the works for the next alpha release"

Looks to me like they have a pretty good roadmap.
