.... with sugar on top?

Can we please have a sticky with just one single post, able to be edited by moderators only, just lists the CURRENT versions of boxee?

There seems to be no way whatsoever of determining this information without logging to boxee.tv, going to the downloads section and looking at the versions listed there and comparing it to the "get info" in the finder or going into settings within boxee itself.

If I was dreaming, I'd love for the app itself to tell me there's a new version (but I'd settle for a sticky). I also don't suppose there's release notes anywhere? The "Release Notes" link in the readme just points to this forum, where there aren't any release notes.

I know you all are very busy, but wouldn't it help you more if everyone would be aware of the new releases and what is (or is not) fixed in them? Might keep people from reporting stuff in old versions.

Thanks for listening.

The latest version for Mac/ATV (5591) will now inform you if there is a new version available..

The windows (5234) and linux (4826)versions are still old however next on our agenda are updating the Ubuntu and Windows, bringing them up to par with the Mac version(which will include informing you of new versions).
