A few weeks ago I started the outline for a Boxee user guide on the wiki at http://wiki.boxee.tv/User_Guide

Now that the new version is about to come out I want to get back to this guide. This is also a callout for others to chip in. Just register on the wiki and you'll be able to make updates.

I'd also like to hear from others what they'd like to see in the wiki.

Can't wait for the new version.

i'm down... i'll start adding some stuff this week.

i think it will be really helpful for common issues... 90% of my posts are:
check this thread: link.

plus, it's a good idea to have a good amount of it done before the beta.

Is the new update still alpha or is it moving to beta?

I want to write up how to use certain functions and features.

i think he just used the contents-layout as a basis for getting an outline in order... i--as i can't speak for ibog--have no intentions of re-purposing xbmc.org content.

if there is any issue using the table of contents as a temporary outline, just let us know. i will change the headings and section order, asap.

sorry if it seems like we are taking away for the hard work of the xbmc folks... i would never dream of it.

Gamester: thanks for the tip, my intent was never to infringe and only wanted to help out the Boxee community. I'll be more aware that Boxee has a commercial component to it when using other content.

I believe there is one page of the XBMC guide I copy and pasted and changed the name from XBMC to Boxee. I will look over this again and be sure to remove the content.

There are a few similar section headers I added, but over all, it's being rewritten to be specific for the Boxee menu items.
