Hi,

I was following the link below to learn how to write my first boxee app:

http://developer.boxee.tv/2009/04/14/building-your-first-boxee-app/

However, I cannot find the library directory as the guide says:

~/Library/Application Support/BOXEE/UserData/apps/

I looked under both my home directory and /opt/boxee, but cannot find above directory. Did I miss something ?

I am running Boxee on Ubuntu Linux 8.10.

any help is appreciated.

Hey

Im pretty sure that is a file directory only on a mac OS. What are you looking for?

If you want to know where to place apps on Ubuntu you go to

home>(username)>.boxee>UserData>apps

I think this is the equivelant of what you are looking for on ubuntu.

BTW.you have to "Show Hidden Files" whilst in your (username) folder in order to see ".boxee"

If you need anymore help feel free to PM me i spent ages working out where things go on ubuntu lol.

The ThruYou app tutorial is written from the standpoint of a Mac user, so you'll have to adjust things to your respective boxee version.

hey,
the sample app documentation is indeed written with mac in mind. on ubutu that path would be ~/.boxee/userdata/apps
hope it helped,
