Hi
I've finally "finished" an app for Versus that I think is working, but I need some help in testing and figuring out what to do with it from this point.

I don't have a web server to create a repository so I'm just going to attach the file to this post for anyone to download.

The app is pretty basic design wise, but I think all of the links work for the videos, which is the most important thing. Any suggestions are appreciated. I read that Boxee can't link images to urls, so I don't know how to display the thumbnails for the videos??

Let me know if there are any problems or things I should change.

I'd like to enter it into the contest if I can get it finished in time, so any help is appreciated.

thanks

Your app thumbnail (202x130) is not valid:
http://developer.boxee.tv/app-descriptor/

thumb
Required. URL for a thumbnail, available on-line. For example: http://mysite.com/myapp.png. The thumbnail size should be 200200. The background of the thumbnail must be a gray gradient which can be downloaded from here (http://developer.boxee.tv/images/icon-background.png).

You are correct. Usually app thumbnails are located on the developers app repository. This is necessary because the App Box within boxee needs a thumbnail image for each app to display to users.

You can pretty much stick a repository anywhere you can find web space:
http://developer.boxee.tv/application-repository

You could try GitHub (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GitHub) or even SourceForge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SourceForge).

There's tons of options though really. Even more if you're willing to spend some money.

Thanks so much DPK for your help.:D
I really appreciate the help.
I'll look into the options you suggested and rework the app for download through a repository.
