There's an XBMC remote (http://remote.collect3.com.au/) for the iPhone that is really cool. It lets you control all of the your XBMC functionality over a wireless network. Well, I've been playing with it and Boxee and it seems to work pretty well. Has anyone else had any other experience positive or negative with the remote and the iPhone?

I've been able to browse to the builtin Boxee web server from my iPhone and control Boxee.

It's not optimized fr the iPhone but it may only need an improved template.

In your setings enable the builtin web server and browse to it with your iPhone.

I haven't tried that, but I will! I was actually talking about the XBMC remote from Collect3: http://remote.collect3.com.au/

OK, now the question - XBMC could work just fine on an old XBox, XBMC, PLEX and Boxee work fine on an old Apple TV, and now the new ATV is here, 1GHz processor, plenty of RAM, OSX kernel at its core, GPU for smooth graphics, and VLC has a port of all the codecks already, so how long before we actually get Boxee itself on the iphone and ipad rather than just the remote??

This would absolutely be in my wish list, and I'd pay for it! 8)
