Default newbie question

Sorry for such a beginner question, but I wanted some quick info before I try to load boxee on my AppleTV.

My AppleTV is currently linked through my network to my PC running Windows Vista. The harddrive of my PC is where I keep my media that the AppleTV accesses. No one in my house uses a Mac. However, my girifriend has a Mac book that I can use to make the patchstick if that is the easiest way. So I guess my question is, is that the easiest way? Does it matter at all that the network the AppleTV is hooked up to connects 3 PCs and the AppleTV? Would you recommend making the patchstick on a Mac like in the video example? Or should I just do everything through my PC?

Thanks for the help!

Default ATV USB Creator stuck halfway thorough

I've formatted my Jump Drive for Mac. Its made by Lexar and is 4GB.
I've downloaded the ATV USB Creator and the most recent DMG.
I've pointed the ATV USB Creator at that DMG,
and when it runs, it seems to get stuck on "copy files to target disc",
it sits there for 30 to 45 minutes before I get fed up and try it again,
and I've been doing this all day.

What am I doing wrong?
I'm about to drive back to Target and try another Jump Drive.
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Default rip blu ray

It is really helpful. Thank you so much for this post! I have found a direct Rip Blu-ray dvd software.

The biggest advantage of this Blu-ray converter is his powerful fuctions. It gathers almost all common video and audio format and you can convert Blu-ray and common DVD format to another popular video and audio files with it, for example, AVI, MPEG, MP3, MP4, ACC etc. Of course, it's price is higher relative. Blu ray Ripper is a real BIG MAC.
