Someone has already offered us "reliable" hosting at this time. If it just meets the definition of "reliable", this man will be hosting Navi-X services if Turner and him see eye to eye. He is asking how much server resources and bandwidth is required so lets hope. Lunarpages got back to me and told us we are using too many resources for their shared hosting services and we either need to get a dedicated platform or an upgraded plan... guess where we will be going with.

iRoNBiLL - Thanks for all of updates and for your work on Navi-X. It is one of the premier apps for Boxee. Appreciate you keeping us posted.

Are there any regional restrictions on installing Navi-X? I use boxee at my apartment in the US and my home in Canada. I added the same the fuzzthed repository in both places and Navi-X only appears on the app library in the US but everything else looks the same. I also added the navi-x google code repository in Canada just to be sure and it still does not appear on the app library and a search for navi yeilds no results.

I love this app and miss it desperately at home. Would it be possible for me to install it manually if I can't get it to show up in the library?

Well... let's try this again, Navi-X seems to be back online and on the website as well. Hopefully for now, back to your regular scheduled programming. (fingers crossed)

Navi-X service is back up again! Looks like the main playlist script for playlist generation caused an infinite loop and instead of killing the script, they changed the cgi-bin to root and killed everything. Apparently the loop issue has been resolved and shouldn't happen again. We are looking into moving hosts however and will keep you informed of any other possible downtime. Thanks.

Ain't that the truth -- we sat down to browse Navi-X last night to see what's new to watch, and it wouldn't open, and we panicked. Anyone remember the South Park where they overreacted after being snowed in for a few hours and turned to cannibalism? It was almost like that, but then we decided to watch "Weeds" on Netflix and things calmed down considerably.

here its more like the SNL Will Ferrel skit where their morning show hosts and the teleprompter goes out... first just try to cope, then try to improvise with flipping channels, then all h377 breaks loose and its a power struggle for the remote to full breakdown when they smell "weakness" on me...... thank god i keep that stun gun ready next to the coutch...
