Default wi-fi problems

Hi Guys, I'm a new Boxee Box owner and I'm also having similar problems with my wi-fi connection to the Box. It will connect fine initially, but at random will just disconnect from the wireless network. Occasionally it will reconnect again after reapplying the network settings, but typically it will just stay disconnected. Sometimes it will allow me to connect again after rebooting. It's really annoying because the disconnect typically happens in the middle of watching a video.

The Box's network connection is much more consistent with a wired connection, but ideally I'd like to use the Wireless-N. I have a PS3 and XB360 in the exact same location as the BBOX, and neither of those devices has any problem connecting to my wi-fi, so I don't see any reason why the BBOX is having this frequent disconnecting problem.

My router is a Netgear model WNR3500. I think I've tried everything I found in this forum thread. I setup a "guest" login on the NAS where I'm streaming my videos from. My SSID is set to broadcast and consists only of alphanumeric characters. My security option is WPA2-PSK [AES].

Is there anything else I can try that I may have missed? Should I send my debug logs to shayz? Please help. Thanks!

I just tested using my DGN3500 which I believe uses the same hardware and had no issues. I'm using the default SSID, no encryption, channel 11, and 270mbps mode.

Have you tried turning the router off at the wall for a minute and turning it back on again? I have to reboot mine about once a week cause either the LAN or WIFI will just stop working on one computer :\ Netgear make some pretty shoddy gear

Hope this helps someone.
Thanks for the post.
I was having this problem too, sometimes the wireless connection worked just fine and the suddenly stopped working.. usually after a reboot. Always came back too on its own after some time, sometimes minutes and sometimes days.

Resetting my dlink DIR-600 to factory values insta-repaired my connection with boxee.

Now im thinking is this a boxeebox issue or an issue with my router? Cause all my other devices work great wireless (iphone 3gs and a few laptops).
