Question Would like to use a wireless keyboard/touchpad device with boxee box

I am looking at this one, because it has backlit keys. It comes in bluetooth and 2.4Ghz wireless models.

Does anyone know if you can plug on of these in and have it work?

Quite a few people (me included) use the 2.4GHz version. Do a search for "rii" and you'll find quite a few threads about it. Works great.

Wow, that's not the cheap version. I bought mine from Amazon for just over half that price...

I just ordered a Rii and it should be here tomorrow. The Boxee remote's keyboard visibility is TERRIBLE, even in light. Grey letters on black keys... come on, really? The online pics are deceiving too because many of the pictures I have seen of the remote show it with WHITE lettering, which is what it should have been, at the very least.

Plus, the buttons on the otherside of the remote are becoming squishy. They still have the firm click when the movement gets to that point, but there seems to be a squishiness to it before it gets there.

I can't say from experience - but it should be fine -- at least you know Amazon will take it back if you have troubles

As a test I once had the Lenovo N5901, the Rii, a wired kbrd, a wired mouse and a Logitech wireless kbrd and mouse combo all hooked up to the BBox at the same time via a 7 port USB hub and all functioned fine - so there's probably not to many input devices that won't function on the BBox - at least that I'm aware of

I got my Rii tonight. It's Ok, but I need to do some reading on how to deal with some of it's funtins. I actually like the way you can change the orientation of the arrow keys, so you can hold it with one hand, but the buttons that go with it are screwy.

I need to use it more to see.
