    Default Billion 7800n - BMM

Hi, Had boxee for a fair while now and have upgraded my routers (Asus N55U & Billion 7800n - got 2 isp's just incase anyone wonders why I have 2 routers)
Also got a 1tb hdd plugged into the Asus router which streams to the boxee OK although I do get buffering issues from time to time on certain films.

So I bought the 7800n and decided to try that out via the Boxee media Manager on the PC. Now this is where the issue starts. I disabled my firewall on my PC (Eset Security) started BMM, I went into the bedroom where the Boxee is and clicked on BMM on the boxee and no files listed. It doesn't see my PC at all. I have downloaded and installed BMM on the PC again to no avail. Bonjour is running on the PC. Tried all that I know of and still the PC isn't showing on the Boxee under BMM.

Any help would be really appreciated as the Billion router is alot closer to the bedroom than the Asus is and could eliminate the buffering issue I have with the Asus when streaming.

    Thanks.

    Turn off the Boxee Box.
    Reboot your PC.
    Turn on the Boxee Box

    and see how that goes.

Having said that, however, it should be pointed out that BMM is mean primary for the iPad; you should be able to use built-in SMB to view videos, etc on the Box from the PC...

Tried that SMB but it just asks for user name and password to which I don't know.

It's your default Windows username and password -- but if you have set up sharing correctly, you shouldn't be prompted for for it.

See if you can get BMM working and if not, it might be worth it to use SMB instead -- in which case post which version of Windows you're using...

I never created a password for windows, never have done in 13 years and never will. Obviously the name of the PC will be the name I entered when installing windows (yes)? If so then I've have entered that in the SMB and left the password field blank and unable to login. I am using Windows 7 home x64
