Description

Share DVD Rom over the network and scan it. Movies are found but when you remove the DVD or CD the movies stay in the movies list and you cannot get rid of them.

Repro
=======
- Share your PC CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
- put in a DVD or CS that has video files on it
- Add the source and scan it
- Movies show up on your Boxee under Movies
- Remove the DVD or CD

Movies still remain in the Movies section even though the Disc is not present anymore. You can re-scan all you want and you cannot get rid of them. Obviously you cannot play these movies.

Brad, Did you try to rescan the source after removing the DVD or CD?

Yes I did that and also left it on overnight to scan on its own. It has been on there since last weekend. The only way I was able to get rid of it last night was to reset all metadata on the Boxie Box.

Brad,
In such issue, a log file will be helpful.
but, it seems that at this point you have no records of the problem.
I am thinking of closing this issue as incomplete.
