Look for Mark getting out of the bar and walking next to it - he jitters. Also look for the cars moving in the title screen as it moves along the houses, here is where its most obvious. Also in the frames where he runs.

I've uploaded a sample of the file here:

Thanks eli, how is it that intel is involved? The same video works fine in 0.92?

0.92 was decoding this video in software mode. We're now decoding all HD mpeg4 with intel hardware.
This issue is caused by the packed bitstream structure of the video frames.

Intel does not have a great track record of timely fixes. Couldn't you just have boxee decode the problem file types with software until intel can patch their chip?

3 months later and still not fixed.

Next public firmware is 3 months out.

So at least 6 months for this to be fixed, at least?

Seriously?

The last few updates of Boxee Box have stuttering/pausing issues on DVD-grade MP4 encodes done with ffmpeg. Is there a way to increase network buffering or change some parameters in ffmpeg to help against decoding issues? This sounds like a long-haul problem. I had originally encoded my DVD's in AppleTV limited format (see below) to avoid throughput performance issues. All gigE network.
I also get some videos that have motion back-and-forth. M4V files around 10x6 3mbits stutter, as well as others.
I also haven't seen anything in the Box GUI to control decoding (hw/sw/buffering). VideoLan on wifi does like a few megabytes of buffering ;)
Thanks
