This policy applies only to U.S. orders of products purchased directly from Boxee through the Boxee website. Inquiries regarding products purchased internationally or from any other store or online retailer should be directed to the original point of purchase.
Domestic orders purchased directly from Boxee may be returned for any reason within 90 days from the date of purchase. All returns must be received within 90 days of the original purchase date. Refunds will not be granted after this duration. Returned hardware must include all items from the original package (cables, adapters, documentation, carton, etc.) in addition to the product. Credit will not be issued for incomplete packages. Refunds will normally take 10-12 business days to be processed.
If the original purchase was made by credit card, your credit card will be refunded the purchase price plus any sales tax. Shipping charges and duties are not refundable. The cost of return shipping must be paid by you, and products lost or damaged during transit are not the responsibility of Boxee or its partners. We recommend shipping returns with a trackable shipping method only.
To get the return process started, send an email to returns@boxee.tv with your name, order number, and reason for the return.
All other returns must be authorized by Boxee Technical Support before they will be accepted.
In order to send in a defective Boxee product for warranty service, you MUST contact Boxee Technical Support to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number, contact Boxee Technical Support by sending an email to support@boxee.tv.
Proof of purchase will be required and must fall within the warranty period specified in the documentation provided with the product. Once an RMA number is obtained, you will be given instructions on how to ship the product to Boxee or one of its partners for service or replacement. All returns must be shipped in a box (not an envelope) to avoid damage during shipment, and must have the RMA number assigned to your return clearly marked on the outside of the box. The cost to ship the product back to Boxee or its partner is the responsibility of the customer. Products lost or damaged during transit are not the responsibility of Boxee or its partners. We recommend shipping returns with a trackable shipping method only.
