Knowledge Base/Boxee Box by D-Link/Installation & Setup

I've been asked by Boxee Support to send debug logs. How do I do that?

1. Find the IP address of your Box: Settings -> System -> Information.
2. Enable Debug logging: Settings -> Advanced -> Debug Level and set to debug. The system will become slower, but will provide much more information to me.
3. Reboot - I want to capture everything
Wait. If it gets frozen again, open a web browser on your PC/Mac to http://<ip_address>:8080, click on Boxee Logs Get Latest, and send me the resultant file.

3. Reboot, so the log will capture the full picture.

4. After doing the same thing for which you were asked for logs:

  • open a web browser on your PC/Mac to http://ip_address:8080 (ie. http://192.168.2.5:8080)
  • click on Boxee Logs Get Latest
  • click Send to Boxee for the appropriate log file
  • Please make sure you email your Device Serial Number (Settings >System) to the support ticket. (e.g QL0XXXXXXXXX)
